A Photo of our World

The Photo of our World was initally created for adults a few years ago when the project's creator walked the Italian Camino from Florence to Rome.  Whilst walking, each day she posted a picture and her friends posted one picture for where they were in the world, which allowed others to see the beautiful world that we live in.

This year, the project brings elements of this collaborative photo sharing into classrooms to allow pupisl to learn about different places through the lens of the camera.  Mrs Georgia Maneta, from Greece, leads this project with the help of an experience language teacherand a newly qualified teacher, Miss Neve Crombie from Scotland.  At different times during the year, a theme will be released to share pictures.  This is a very simple and quick project ot take part in, however, it can create some deep learning opportunities depending on the class and teacher engage with the pictures.

A "Christmassy"/wintry walk

December is a festive month!

Take photos of your classrooms/ schools/ places you think present a "wintry" interest! Make sure there are no people in them, just places. Upload them on this Padlet and send an email to Ms Georgia Maneta (georgiamat@yahoo.com) so that she can approve them.

REMEMBER: The title of each photo should be "Merry Christmas, and your country)" in your own language! Under the photo, you should include the name of the school/ place and the country (all in English)

Let's make a Padlet full of beautiful photos from around the world!
