Hello everyone from schools around the world

Over 100 schools and universities from around the world have been involved in the VOTW project.  In the map below, you can watch and listen to 62 schools from 24 countries sing and sign the Hello Song. 

Countries schools are from:

Azerbaijan, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, England, France, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lebanon, Netherlands, North Macedonia, Michigan USA, Oregon USA, Poland, Russia, Scotland, Spain, Sweden, Tunisia, Turkey, Ukraine and Wales.

Since the project commenced, over 4000 pupils have taken part from over 100 countries.

Listen to the Hello Song in other languages

Listen to other schools sing the song in their language.  How many languages can you say Hello in?  Can you sing the song in another Language?  What language do you enjoy hearing the song sung in?

Make a video of the Hello Song

If you wish to make a video of the Hello Song in your language, choose a location in your school that will represent your school and culture then practise the song and signs before filming.  Remember when filming to record in landscape mode.

Share your Hello Song with others

Place your video with your school information on the Padlet map above then message the project's creator (s . a. tonnersaunders @ dundee.ac.uk) to ask her to approve your song.   She will contact you once it has been approved.

Chilli Challenge

Why not try the Greeting Chilli Challenge where you can simply say in your own language and sign good morning and good afternoon or say and sign as many as eight different greetings.  Watch Miss Gfrom Alva Primary School in Scotland teach the signs for the challenge on the Padlet Page below.
